U.S. Botanical Gardens

Last Sunday, we met Grandma K up in DC and spent the afternoon visiting the U.S. Botanical Gardens. In the entrance room, replicas of monuments and important buildings were on display made entirely from plant life! Wow!


Their train room is a little boy's dream come true! This is just one of probably ten to fifteen trains that were zooming around on tracks and through towns that were also made mainly from plant life.


Of course, there were flowers!
