Aiden Makes a Cake

Earlier this week we had a farewell party and potluck to go to. I needed to bring a dessert and opted to have Aiden help me make a Dump Cake, named because you literally dump the ingredients in to the pan with no stirring or additional prep. Aiden ended up making the entire cake by himself; all I did was set out the ingredients and tell him what order to put them in. He was so excited and proud of himself! Now, every morning he says to me, "Let's make a cake today, Mama!" So I guess I had better get cracking and find more kid-friendly recipes he can help me pull together!
