Father's Day @ Colonial Downs

Yesterday we celebrated Daddy by going somewhere he's wanted to go for the past year: Colonial Downs to watch horse races. We went with our friends Aaron and Beth, two of Aiden's favorite people, and had a great time watching the races and spending a couple of dollars on fun but mostly incorrect bets! Ha, ha!

We thought Aiden would love all of the horses, but this morning he and I had this conversation:

"Aiden, where did we go yesterday?"
"We went with Aaron and Beth."
"Yes, and what did we see?" (Expected answer: Lots of horses!)
"We saw a BIG tractor!"

Yep, who cares about the horses? The big tractor that moved the starting gates back and forth was obviously the highlight of the day!
