Home Again

I apologize for the recent blog hiatus, but we've been on vacation for 10 days! We spent our time away visiting Chicago and Mackinac Island (in Michigan) with our families. We traveled by plane, train, car, and boat to get to all of the fascinating places that we visited, and Aiden could not have handled the extensive traveling any better than he did! He remained happy and content for almost the entire trip! We're so proud of our little man!

We're finally home, and our last day of vacation proved to be the most eventful! Our plane was canceled in Chicago, and we barely squeezed on the next flight out. The later arrival put us battling the Washington, DC metro at rush hour with a tired baby and two huge suitcases! No fun! Aiden definitely handled the unexpected delays much better than his cranky parents, and the best part of the day was climbing in to our own beds that night!

We have tons of great pictures from vacation, and I'll probably make several more vacation posts over the next few days. For now, here is Aiden enjoying his bottle as we drove to Mackinac Island last Tuesday.
