There is no better way to spend a morning than at the berry patch picking your own blueberries! Truthfully I love fruit picking of any kind, and I think the kids do too! We picked strawberries in early May and blueberries two weeks ago; we may go blackberry picking in early July, and of course, we pick apples every fall!
We were blessed with several bright, gorgeous, and unseasonably cool days while Grandma and Grandpa were visiting, so off we headed to the farm to enjoy the great outdoors and fresh fruit!
And what else can you do with a bucketful of fresh berries but make a pie?!
